Welcome to our new Trustees
7th February 2024
We are thrilled to announce the addition of several new faces to our Board of Trustees. Our new trustees bring a wealth of experience and diverse perspectives, they’ll play a crucial role in guiding Earthwatch’s development in the coming years.
“As Chair of the Trustees, I am thrilled to extend a warm welcome to our newest Board members. The new Trustees bring fresh expertise, perspectives, and a great deal of passion to Earthwatch’s work. The existing Trustees and I are looking forward to working with them. I am sure that, together with Earthwatch’s dedicated staff team, we will continue to build towards our vision of helping to create a world where we can live in balance with nature.”
Lucian J. Hudson, Chair of Trustees
As part of Earthwatch’s overall strategy to embrace equality, diversity and inclusion in all of our work, for this round of trustee recruitment we have worked hard, supported by our advisers Diversifying Group, to further enhance the diversity of the skills, knowledge and experience within our Board, particularly in relation to engaging younger people and people from less advantaged or underrepresented communities. We are all really excited to see how our new Board will be able to support Earthwatch’s engagement with communities that are too often under represented on environmental issues.
