Manu Maunganidze

With a background in education, Manu has extensive experience engaging young people and communities on environmental issues and believes that he can bring his vast network and his unique perspective on the intersection between inclusive practices and environmental spaces.

Manu is co-director Inclusion and Climate Justice at SOS-UK, Independent Inclusion, Diversity and Equality Consultant, Project Coordinator and Founder at Nature Youth Connection and Education (NYCE), Education at Community Engagement Lead at The Global Goals Centre and Director at Bristol Green Capital Partnership.

A part of his work with SOS-UK, Manu is one of the people behind the RACE (Radical Action for the Climate Emergency) report which looks at charities and funders working on environmental and conservation issues, highlighting the need for greater representation in sustainability and climate action. The RACE Report shows the racial diversity gap between the UK working population and staff in environment, conservation, climate and sustainability charities.

Outside of work Manu is a keen long-distance runner and cyclist, writer, dad, and amateur craft maker.
