Teach Earth

Join our teacher training weekend and learn about outdoor experiments through citizen science

On our teacher training weekend, you’ll learn about outdoor experiments through citizen science, with free take-home materials, kits and lesson plans on science projects and the SDGs that fit into the national curriculum.

Join our two-day immersive climate change and environmental research project in Oxfordshire or Ceredigion, where you’ll connect with nature and network with like-minded peers.

In this fun and interactive environment, you’ll research and build lesson plans that will inspire and engage your students to achieve a more sustainable planet.

The cost is just £50 per teacher for all training, materials, food and accommodation. Costs can be refunded post training for those working in disadvantaged communities.*

Why Teach Earth matters

Children are spending less and less time outdoors, becoming increasingly disconnected from nature. We’re instilling in them a love of the outdoors and laying the foundations for a more sustainable future.

Our citizen science model lets teachers and children be part of science that is relevant and genuinely makes a difference.

Our approach uniquely targets hearts and minds. We show not only how science works and how it’s fun but also why it’s important for the health of the planet and our well-being.
