Earthwatch at 50: Natasha Gavin’s story
During the summer of her Biology degree at the University of Bristol, Natasha Gavin joined Earthwatchs California Wildlife expedition in 1996.
It was a very positive experience to help save the planet and developed my interest in reducing the impact of the way we live.
In the years that followed she has led a diverse career in public health and environmental education, describing her career as a mixture of wildlife biology and allotments!
Natasha runs her own social enterprise – I Know Why Its Yum, Mum which encourages healthy eating in children.
Natasha also recently became an Education Officer for the local council, a role that encourages families to get close to nature and teaches children about the environment through play.
