About Teach Earth in the Field

Teach Earth In the Field is a residential training weekend hosted by Earthwatch Europe near Oxfordshire’s beautiful Wytham Woods. Our learning programme aims to build teachers’ skills, knowledge, confidence and motivation to effectively inspire and lead children, young people and peers in:

  • Building climate literacy
  • Connection to nature
  • Empowering positive action for the planet

At Earthwatch, we are working to ensure our programmes have diversity of voice and are inclusive to all. We’re keen to ensure we’re designing our Teach Earth weekend to work for everyone, so we particularly encourage applications from different under-represented demographics and those working within under-served communities.

Join us for our next Teach Earth in the Field: Secondary weekend this May.

This weekend has been life changing for me. All the emotions I have had inside, I have been able to do something with. I feel really empowered that I can make a positive impact, and my students and colleagues can too.

Sophie, Primary School Teacher
