1. To make a festive wreath for birds, you will need pine cones, long twigs, garden wire, holly and other leaves.
2. To feed the birds, you will need soft lard, bird seed, dried fruits or unsalted nuts and a mixing bowl.
3. Get the bundles of twigs and twist them together, fastening them with wire into a ring. Create a soft paste with the lard in the mixing bowl.
4. Mix in the bird seed with the lard. Smear the mixture over the pine cones and decorate with fruits and nuts. Attach the cones and leaves to the wreath with wire.
