Lisa King

Lisa KingLisa King joined the Earthwatch Board as a Trustee in 2013 and is a member of the Nominations, Investment and Corporate Development Committees. She has 30 years of international experience in the legal, education, property‎, art and culture sectors.

As a qualified lawyer, Lisa spent 12 years practising law before joining Christie's, the leading art and auction business, where she spent 15 years as International Managing Director and COO. Lisa then set up her own independent strategy consultancy in 2011 and during this time has advised on diverse and ambitious international strategy projects for government and businesses in Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Middle East.

Lisa has a socially responsible outlook; a keen interest in understanding the impact individuals and businesses have on the environment; and a focus on finding solutions to create a sustainable environment  ‎through science, education, and engagement. Lisa has supported several Earthwatch projects and, prior to that, WWF projects in the Arctic and Borneo, and has explored ways that corporates can support sustainable solutions to environmental and conservation challenges.

Lisa is delighted to be able to share her experience, enthusiasm and commitment to a sustainable future as an Earthwatch Trustee.
