Geoff Lane (Vice-Chair, elected to the Board in 2015), is a Partner for PwC, with responsibility for their work on sustainability and climate change issues. He is part of a team of nine partners and over a hundred full-time staff in the UK working on a range of sustainable development, climate change and corporate responsibility related projects.
Geoff has a degree in biology and a Masters degree in environmental technology. Prior to joining PwC he was head of environmental policy at the Confederation of British Industry (CBI). He was with the CBI for five years, where he had responsibility for formulating and promoting CBI policy on environmental issues in the UK and internationally.
In addition to Geoff's work at PwC, he is also involved in a number of external organisations. He is their liaison delegate at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development and was a member of the advisory group of HRH The Prince of Wales Accounting for Sustainability Initiative, and is a faculty member with the Cambridge Programme for Sustainable Leadership.
