Dax Lovegrove

Dax LovegroveDax Lovegrove (elected to the Board in 2015) is the Global VP Sustainability at Swarovski. He leads on the international strategy for the business moving forward in sustainability across the value chain - from sourcing raw materials to engaging customers to inspiring fashion designers.

Previously, he was Director of Sustainability and Innovation at Kingfisher plc, where he worked on all things net positive and disruptive to progress the sustainability ambitions across the group. He managed Kingfisher's relationships with its cohort of external partners and advisors, and supported the operating companies in their local markets.

Before this, he led WWF-UK's work with business for just over a decade, developing the organisation's strategy for engaging with business and industry in order to win support for conservation and to drive shifts towards a green economy. He drove the net positive movement forward while also leading the international Green Game Changers programme – promoting green business innovation.

In his earlier career, he worked in the private sector for various companies including American Express and a number of internet consultancies. His Masters in Sustainable Development covered social and environmental impacts of world economic policies, disasters and development, participatory development, land management policies and NGO-business interactions.
