John Ward-Zinski leads the team that develops business partnerships with Earthwatch Europe.
These range from corporations funding new Tiny Forest sites to developing and delivering corporate sustainability learning programmes. The single most common topic of discussion is around the business case for investing in sustainability and this is a particular area of interest for John and his team.
Prior to joining Earthwatch, John set up his own marketing consultancy, focused on sustainability. This was based on John’s personal passion for the circular economy and his experience as Marketing and Sustainability Director for Nexcel, the BP-funded circular economy start-up. Before that, his corporate career was spent in a range of marketing and business development roles and before that in the advertising agency business.
He is proficient in environmental life cycle analysis and in the joys and challenges of moving a business to carbon neutrality and onto the path to net zero.
