Tiny Forest partnership with OVO Foundation wins edie award
19th March 2024
We are thrilled that our Tiny Forest partnership with OVO Foundation won the 2024 edie award for Nature and Biodiversity Project of the Year!
The OVO Foundation has been part of the Tiny Forest movement since its inception in 2020 and has been a key player for Earthwatch to expand our Tiny Forest movement. With the support from OVO Foundation, we planted 12 Tiny Forests across the country and hosted engagement activities at all the 12 sites, including teacher training workshops and community science days.

Tiny Forest: super tiny, super powerful
Tiny Forests are planted in urban locations, where nature is most needed. We collect environmental and social data for every forest we plant to help us assess the benefits they provide over time and between different forests.
Tiny Forests are amazing community assets. The forests are planted, maintained and monitored with the help of local volunteers, businesses and schools – creating a real sense of ownership and impact as they support nature and biodiversity on their doorstep. Helping the trees take root and watching them flourish creates a very special connection with the forest and the wildlife that calls it their home.
