During the summer of her Biology degree at the University of Bristol, Natasha Gavin joined Earthwatch’s California Wildlife expedition in 1996.
“It was a very positive experience to help save the planet and developed my interest in reducing the impact of the way we live.”
In the years that followed she has led a diverse career in public health and environmental education, describing her career as “a mixture of wildlife biology and allotments!”
Natasha runs her own social enterprise - ‘I Know Why It’s Yum, Mum’ which encourages healthy eating in children.
Natasha also recently became an Education Officer for the local council, a role that encourages families to get close to nature and teaches children about the environment through play.
