SC Johnson, an industry-leading manufacturer of household cleaning and other consumer and professional products, is donating over £130,000 to Earthwatch Europe and STEM Learning’s Project ENTHUSE to support child education in the UK.

The donation will see Earthwatch work with more than 200 teachers and 6,000 children in schools across the UK to raise awareness about freshwater pollution and how to reduce plastic waste. SC Johnson previously worked with Earthwatch to support the creation of a Plastics Calculator, helping communities and SC Johnson employees measure their plastic footprint and receive tips on how to reduce their impact. The calculator continues to be used in Earthwatch education programmes including this year’s project with SC Johnson.

Support for STEM Learning will reach 12,000 underserved students through Project ENTHUSE, which focusses on teacher development and creating engaging activities for students to bridge the learning gap in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
